About Andrea Rubinstein
A museum visit in the Fall of 2013 inspired me to learn how to draw, paint & keep a travel journal. Now I keep a sketchbook with me at all times and make it a daily practice to dash off at least one quick sketch or watercolor in it everyday. I particularly enjoy the process of combining the immediacy and unpredictability of watercolor with some lively ink work. Originally from New York City, I also lived in Michigan, Florida, Arizona and San Francisco and Lafayette, LA before moving to Princeton, NJ. Not surprisingly, my artwork has been inspired by the distinctive places I have lived, as well as my travels, & my two crazy cats. Please give my artwork a happy home.
